Influencer discovery software is a tool that helps brands and agencies find the right creators to work with. A good one lets you search creators by platform, niche and location, filter by audience country and engagement, check for fake followers, see contact details, and move straight into outreach. The best influencer discovery software in 2026 depends on where you sell: global databases like Modash and HypeAuditor cover hundreds of millions of profiles, while Hypein lists only creators a person has reviewed, with deeper coverage of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Lebanon. Below we compare 8 tools, say what each does well and where each falls short, and match them to five common buyer scenarios.

We make Hypein, so weigh this list with that in mind. We have tried to be fair: where a competitor is the better pick, we say so.

What does influencer discovery software actually do?

Every tool in this category covers some or all of the same six jobs. Knowing which ones you need tells you how much software you actually need to pay for.

If you only need the first two, a free tool may be enough. Our guide to free influencer search tools covers where free stops being enough.

How we judged them

We scored each tool on six criteria. The weights reflect what goes wrong most often for the brands and agencies we talk to, especially in the Middle East.

CriterionWhat we checkedWhy it matters
Data quality and verificationAre creators auto-indexed from public profiles, or reviewed? How are fake followers flagged?Bad data means paying creators whose audience is not real.
Coverage in your marketsHow many relevant creators show up for your cities and niches?A huge global database can still be thin in Riyadh or Beirut.
Audience-location accuracyDoes "audience in Saudi Arabia" mean what it says?Diaspora and global fan bases distort country rankings.
UGC and influencers in one placeCan you find creators who make ad content, not only those with big followings? Most brands now need both, often for the same launch.
Workflow after discoveryOutreach, campaign stages, contracts, payments, tracking.Finding creators is a small part of the work. Managing them is most of it.
Price transparencyIs the price published, and what do you get for it?Quote-only pricing slows buying and makes comparison hard.

The 8 best influencer discovery tools in 2026

All competitor prices and figures below are as listed on each company's own website when we checked in October 2026. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.

1. Hypein

Best for: brands and agencies working in MENA, and anyone who wants verified creators instead of an auto-indexed database.

What it does well: Hypein does not pull creators from public profiles. Creators apply, and a person reviews every profile before it is listed: the account has to be real, active and theirs, and the engagement has to look organic. Dormant, spam and bought-following accounts are rejected. Around 100 new verified creators are added each month. You search by platform, niche, city and audience country, open a creator profile to see audience and engagement data, and run an AI analysis of a creator when you want a second opinion. Influencers and UGC creators sit in the same pool, so one search covers both.

After discovery, the workflow continues in the same place. You can recruit through an application link where creators apply to your campaign, send bulk branded outreach emails, and move creators through campaign stages, contracts and payments. Each creator gets a tracking link with UTMs added automatically, and Instagram and TikTok posts using your campaign hashtag are collected automatically. Agencies get multi-brand workspaces, and Viral Lab shows trending Reels and TikToks in MENA when you need hook ideas.

Where it falls short: Hypein is not the biggest database and it is not the best pick for a US-only or EU-only programme. If you need long-tail reach across dozens of countries, a global database will return more names. It also does not run affiliate commission payouts or connect to Shopify.

Price: Starter $99/month (150 opened profiles, 100 outreach emails, 25 AI analyses, 1 brand), Growth $250/month (500 opened profiles, 300 outreach emails, unlimited brands, verified creator contact details), Pro $499/month, Enterprise $1,200/month. Yearly billing is cheaper (Starter $950/year, Growth $2,400/year). 7-day free trial, no card required.

2. Modash

Best for: global DTC brands that want the widest search across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

What it does well: Modash lists over 350 million creator profiles on its pricing page, covering any creator with over 1,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. Search and filtering are fast and well designed, and the plans include creator tracking. If your markets are the US, UK and Europe, few tools return more results.

Where it falls short for MENA: profiles are pulled from public accounts, so you do the vetting yourself. Audience-location data in the Gulf is harder to trust because of large expat and diaspora audiences, and Snapchat, which matters a lot in Saudi Arabia, is not covered. Our Hypein vs Modash page goes into detail.

Price: Essentials $299/month, or $199/month billed yearly (300 opened profiles, 150 unlocked emails, 100 tracked creators). Performance $599/month, or $499/month billed yearly. Enterprise starts at $14,700/year, as listed on the Modash pricing page in October 2026.

3. HypeAuditor

Best for: teams whose main worry is fraud and fake followers, and who want deep audit reports.

What it does well: HypeAuditor's site lists a 227.3M+ account database with 35+ filters and covers Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and Twitch. Its fraud detection is its best-known feature, and its reports show audience quality, location, age and gender, and authenticity. It also has a CRM, contracting, payment tracking and outreach.

Where it falls short for MENA: audience-location rankings show how global fan bases distort the region. When we checked HypeAuditor's public ranking of top Instagram influencers in Saudi Arabia in October 2026, the top two spots were held by Bollywood actors, ranked there because of their audience location, not because they are Saudi creators. If you filter by audience country in the Gulf, check who you are actually getting. See Hypein vs HypeAuditor.

Price: not published. Its pricing page does not list plans or prices, and it offers a free starting tier with limited features.

4. Upfluence

Best for: e-commerce brands that want discovery tied to sales, affiliate codes and their online store.

What it does well: Upfluence advertises a database of over 12 million creators and lets creators apply to campaigns. Its strength is commerce: it connects to Shopify, WooCommerce and Amazon, generates unique promo codes, tracks sales per creator, and supports flat fees, affiliate commissions or a mix. Higher plans add creator payments.

Where it falls short for MENA: it is built around Western e-commerce stacks and affiliate programmes, which suit fewer GCC brands, many of which sell through marketplaces, delivery apps or retail. The pricing page lists a 12-month minimum contract.

Price: not published. Upfluence quotes based on modules, team size and programme volume after a demo.

5. CreatorIQ

Best for: large enterprises and global agencies that need governance, brand safety and integrations across many markets.

What it does well: CreatorIQ describes itself as an operating system for creator-led growth, with discovery, evaluation, campaign execution, measurement, brand safety and enterprise governance, plus add-on modules for recruiting, conversion and payments. Its site says it is trusted by 1,300+ brands and agencies. For a global team running hundreds of creators across regions, the reporting and controls are the point.

Where it falls short for MENA: it is heavy and costly for a regional brand or a small agency. Like other global platforms, it does not reflect UAE Advertiser Permit or Saudi Mawthooq licensing, and you will still need local knowledge to judge creators.

Price: not published. The pricing link goes to a request form.

6. GRIN

Best for: DTC brands running gifting, affiliate and creator programmes on a credit-based model.

What it does well: GRIN's site says its AI assistant, Gia, searches a network of 700K+ active creators and recommends matches by audience and content fit. Every plan includes affiliate links, discount codes and GMV tracking, and the pricing page describes a one-click Shopify connection. Plans are month to month.

Where it falls short for MENA: the creator network and the commerce tooling are built for Western DTC brands. A 700K network is a smallish slice of the world, and we could not find any regional focus on its site.

Price: Free plan with 50 credits, Starter $200/month, Growth $500/month, Scale $1,000/month, with a 30-day free trial of Starter, as listed on the GRIN pricing page in October 2026.

7. Heepsy

Best for: small brands and freelancers on a tight budget who want self-serve search.

What it does well: Heepsy has a free plan with no card required (500 search results and 10 advanced profiles a month) and cheap paid tiers. It lists a database of 20M+ creators on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, with AI, lookalike and text search and 30+ filters. Paid plans can be cancelled without an annual lock-in.

Where it falls short for MENA: data is pulled from public profiles, so verification is on you, and the workflow after discovery is lighter than full campaign tools. Coverage of Arabic-language and dialect content is limited in what we have seen.

Price: Free; Starter $89/month ($69 billed yearly); Plus $199/month ($149 yearly); Advanced $299/month ($229 yearly); Custom on request, as listed on the Heepsy pricing page in October 2026.

8. Favikon

Best for: B2B brands looking for LinkedIn creators, and brands that need Snapchat or Substack in the same search.

What it does well: Favikon covers 9 channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Substack, Pinterest, Twitch and Snapchat. That breadth, and its strength on LinkedIn, is unusual. It offers a 7-day free trial on its paid plans.

Where it falls short for MENA: it does not publish a creator count, its brand plans are capped at 1 to 5 active campaigns, and it is not built around Gulf audiences or UGC production.

Price: Core from $159 to $199/month and Pro from $239 to $299/month depending on billing period, Enterprise on request, as listed on the Favikon pricing page in October 2026.

Which one should you pick?

Start from your situation, not from the feature list.

You are a brand selling in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt or Lebanon

Pick Hypein. You need creators whose audience actually lives in your market, you probably need UGC creators for ads as well as influencers for reach, and you do not have time to vet hundreds of auto-indexed profiles. For the wider regional picture, read our list of the best influencer marketing platforms in MENA.

You are a global DTC brand selling mainly in the US and Europe

Pick Modash for search, or GRIN or Upfluence if affiliate codes and Shopify sales tracking are central to your programme. Their databases are far bigger than ours in those markets.

You are an enterprise with a global creator programme

Look at CreatorIQ for governance and reporting across regions. If MENA is one of those regions, add a regional tool for discovery, because enterprise databases are thin on local micro creators.

You are on a tight budget

Start with Heepsy's free plan or GRIN's free plan to learn what you need. When you are ready to pay, compare cost per useful creator, not cost per profile: a cheap plan full of fake accounts costs more in wasted fees.

You are an agency running many brands

You need multi-brand workspaces, bulk outreach and a campaign pipeline, not only search. Hypein Growth includes unlimited brands at $250/month. If your clients are mostly outside the region, Modash or HypeAuditor plus a separate campaign tool is the common setup.

Database or verified network: what is the real difference?

Most tools on this list are databases. They collect public profiles automatically, so their size is huge, and so is the share of accounts you would never hire. Hypein is a verified network: creators apply and a person checks them, so the pool is smaller and every name in it has been checked. The choice is over 350 million profiles, or creators someone actually checked. We explain the trade-off in full in influencer database vs verified creator network.

Whichever tool you choose, still vet before you pay. Our guide on how to vet influencers for fake followers gives a checklist that works with any software.

What about UGC creators?

Discovery tools are built around follower counts. UGC creators make videos for your ads and your own accounts, so their follower count matters less than their on-camera skill, their dialect and their turnaround time. Most databases have no way to find them. If UGC is a big part of your plan, read the best platforms to find UGC creators in 2026, and use a tool where UGC creators and influencers sit in the same search.

FROM THE PLATFORM
On Hypein, every creator applies and a person reviews the profile before it goes live, so your search results start clean. Filter by platform, niche, city and audience country, open profiles with audience and engagement data, then recruit with an application link, send bulk branded outreach, and track every creator with automatic UTM links and hashtag post collection on Instagram and TikTok.

Frequently asked questions

What is influencer discovery software?

Influencer discovery software lets a brand or agency search for creators by platform, niche, location and audience, open a profile to see audience and engagement data, check whether the following looks real, get contact details and start outreach. Some tools stop at search; others continue into campaigns, tracking and payments.

Which influencer discovery tool is best for the Middle East?

For brands and agencies working in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and the wider GCC, we recommend Hypein, which is our product. Every creator applies and is reviewed by a person before being listed, you can filter by city and audience country, and influencers and UGC creators sit in one pool. Global tools have far bigger databases but their audience-location data for the region is less reliable.

Is a bigger influencer database always better?

No. A database of hundreds of millions of profiles is pulled from public accounts, so it includes dormant, spam and bought-following accounts that you have to filter out yourself. A smaller verified pool means less searching and fewer bad hires. Size helps most when you work across many countries and need long-tail reach.

How much does influencer discovery software cost?

Of the tools we checked in October 2026, published self-serve plans start at $0 for limited free tiers (Heepsy, GRIN), around $89 to $299 per month for entry paid plans (Heepsy, Hypein, Favikon, GRIN, Modash), and enterprise tools such as CreatorIQ, Upfluence and HypeAuditor do not publish prices and quote on request.

Can I find UGC creators with influencer discovery software?

Most discovery tools are built around follower-based influencers, so UGC creators who make content for brand ads rather than their own feed are hard to find in them. Hypein lists influencers and UGC creators in the same verified pool, so you can search for both and run them through the same campaign workflow.
